Our SODO (South Downtown) research site is located within Family Medical Center. The facility is an eight-provider family practice group which includes Board Certified Family Medicine Doctors, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners and Certified Physician Assistants providing services to children, adolescents and adults. This location hosts a broad spectrum of primary care services, with an on-site lab, full digital X-ray suite, ultrasound, DEXA scan, sleep studies, walk-in urgent care and telemedicine appointments.

Meet Our Orlando - SODO Investigators

Frank Delgado, MD

Dr. Delgado received his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. He went on to complete both his internship and residency at Ascension St. Vincent’s Southside Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.

Mitul Shah, MD

Dr. Shah completed his Doctor of Medicine at M.P. Shah Medical College in India, then received a Masters in Healthcare Admin at Western Kentucky Univ. He finished an internship/residency at Detroit Medical Center. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Brown is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who is certified in both adult and child/adolescent psychiatric/mental health nursing. She joined CNS Healthcare in 2004 at their Jacksonville location and then transitioned to the Orlando Research team in 2008.

Chanel received her Master's degree in Nursing from Keiser University and her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Indiana University Southeast. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Prior to joining CNS Healthcare in 2020, Chanel worked in various medical and operational leadership roles with a major Central Florida healthcare system.
