Headaches
If you find yourself experiencing headaches you may be suffering from one of the following conditions:
Migraines and Headaches
Migraine is a commonly diagnosed type of recurring severe headache. Approximately 8% of the male population and 25% of the female population have suffered from migraine headaches during their lifespan. Although their specific cause is still unclear, it is believed to be related to the tightening and widening of the blood vessels which nourish the brain.
Fibromyalgia
Fibromyalgia is an illness characterized by widespread chronic pain. Individuals with it experience musculoskeletal aches, pain, stiffness, soft tissue tenderness, sleep disturbance and fatigue. The pain is typically located in the back, neck, shoulders, pelvic area and hands.
Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
The individual suffering from GAD lives in a constant state of tension and general uneasiness. They are oversensitive in their relationships and generally feel inadequate and depressed. No matter how well things are going, they are nervous and anxious. They find themselves constantly worrying. Typically, at the end of the day they mentally review their daily activities, list out all of their "mistakes", real or imagined, and come up with what they "should" have done in that situation.
